When Hispanic/Latinos Meet...
In our conference, when Hispanic/Latinos meet in a local church and the pastor and laity refer to them as "The Hispanic Church" we ask ourselves why. We are called to be one in Christ. It is our desire to participate in one church experience. Gatherings at different times and in differenct languages honor different cultures-the cultures of teenagers, children, singles, older adults, etc. We enjoy singing and hearing the Word of God taught in a language that is so familiar to our hearts! But we love being part of the family of God.
